Jack: And I’m Jack! Hello, friends! Thank you for joining us today.

Sarah: In this episode, we’re talking about family — how to talk about your family in English.

Jack: Yes! You’ll learn simple words and phrases to describe your family.

Sarah: So, let’s start!

Jack: Sarah, do you have a big family?

Sarah: Not really! My family is small. I have a mother, a father, and one brother.

Jack: Oh, so you’re four people in your family.

Sarah: Yes, that’s right. What about you, Jack?

Jack: My family is big! I have two sisters, one brother, my parents, and my grandparents.

Sarah: Wow, that’s a big family! You must have a lot of fun together.

Jack: Yes, we do. We love family dinners on Sunday.

Sarah: That’s great! Let’s go over the new words.

Jack: Sure!

Sarah: Mother — that’s your mom.

Jack: Father — that’s your dad.

Sarah: Brother — a boy in your family.

Jack: Sister — a girl in your family.

Sarah: Grandparents — your grandma and grandpa.

Jack: Perfect! Repeat after us, everyone.

Jack: Yes, and that’s a good example of how to talk about family in English.
