Structure of the English course so for beginners (A1−A2)

Module 1: the fundamentals (level A1)

This module covers the assolute basics, allowing students to introduce yourself and understand phrases very simple.

Lessons of module 1

  1. The alphabeto: vowels and consonants
  2. Numbers from 0 to 100 and beyond
  3. Verbs in the affirmative, negative and interrogative forms
  4. The verb “essere” (to be)
  5. Pronouns for sonal soobject (I, you, he, she, it, we, they)
  6. The verb “avere” (to have): basic form and common uses
  7. The verb “have got” and how to use it
  8. Introduce yourself: name, age and origin
  9. The essential greetings and courtesy phrases
  10. The definite and indefinite articles
  11. Regular and irregular plurals
  12. The colors, shapes and descriptions of simple objects
  13. The vocabulary of family and relationships

Module 2: daily life (advanced A1 level)

It focuses on daily activities, describing places, and the ability to shop or order.

Lessons of module 2

  1. The present simple: euso formation for habits
  2. Learn to tell the time in English
  3. Prepositions of time (at, in, on)
  4. The days of the week
  5. The months of the year
  6. The seasons and the climate
  7. The vocabulary of food and bedrinks
  8. The present continuous: actions in corso andifferences with the present simple
  9. "There is" and "there are": describe places and quantities
  10. Prepositions of place (in, on, under, next to, etc.)
  11. Ask and give simple directions
  12. "Can" and "can't": expressing capabilities and possibilities

Module 3: experience and past (initial A2 level)

Introduction to the past and the vocabulary necessary to talk about personal experiences.

Lessons of module 3

  1. The past simple of regular verbs
  2. The past simple of the verb “essere” (was / were)
  3. The most common irregular verbs
  4. Parlare di vacanze ed esperienze passate
  5. Possessive pronouns (mine, yours, his, hers, its, ours, theirs)
  6. Possessive adjectives (my, your, mine, yours, etc.)
  7. Adverbs of frequency (always, usually, sometimes, never)
  8. The lexicon to describe a person (appearance and personality)
  9. Comparatives and superlatives of simple adjectives (tall / taller / tallest)
  10. Quantityificatori: "some", "any", "much", "many", "a lot of"

Module 4: future and plans (advanced A2 level)

It covers the different forms to express the future and prepares for more complex conversations about intentions and needs.

Lessons of module 4

  1. Express the future with "going to" (plans and intentions)
  2. Use "will" for predictions and spontaneous decisions
  3. Ask and make offers ("Would you like...?", "Shall I...?")
  4. Modal verbs of necessity: "must", "have to", "should"
  5. The vocabulary of jobs and professions
  6. Parlare della salute fisica e mentale (How are you?)
  7. Prepositions of movement (to, from, across, through)
  8. Common verbs plus Preposition (phrasal verbs) (get up, turn off)
  9. The hypothetical period of type zero
  10. The type one hypothetical period
